The Randy Villars Band is a modern jazz quartet (tenor sax, guitar, bass, drums) playing largely original post-bop compositions composed by leader Randy Villars and also some re-worked standards. The group is planning to record a CD soon. The Randy Villars Band plays in the Dayton/Cincinnati, Ohio area,but has plans to begin touring regionally very soon. Randy Villars - sax, Brandon Scott Coleman - gtr, Matt Wiles - bass, Phil Tipton or Tom Buckley - drums.
