Spencer, a singer-songwriter, producer, and actor of Seminole/Choctaw heritage, broke barriers by becoming the first American Indian artist to sign with Hard Rock Records in 2013. His musical evolution from traditional hymns to contemporary Pop/Rock and R&B culminated in the release of his debut EP "Stupid in Love," which won Best Pop Recording at the Native American Music Awards. Spencer's groundbreaking collaborations, such as the VMA-winning "Stand Up/Stand N Rock #NoDAPL," have not only garnered acclaim but also showcased his dedication to addressing political and social issues. On the other hand, Doc Native, an award-winning producer, writer, and rapper rooted in the Seminole Indian Reservation, has made his mark through a blend of unique style, native heritage, and love for his indigenous people. His collaboration with Spencer on impactful singles like "The Storm" and the award-winning music video "Dream" attest to his creative prowess. Doc Native's contributions extend beyond music, as demonstrated by his 2017 VMA win for "Best Fight Against the System" and the subsequent release of notable works like his EP "DOC" and singles such as "Instagram," "Buss Down," and "Forever Mood." Together, Spencer Battiest and Doc Native continue to inspire audiences worldwide with their music, performances, and unwavering commitment to cultural pride and social advocacy.TBAMelissa IveyMelissa Ivey (they/she): is a multi-dimensional artist, Musical Doula, Future Ancestor performance artist, music educator, event producer, and musical shape shifter.
