Born in Billings, Montana, he hails from a rich cultural heritage as a Crow tribal member with Assiniboine Sioux and Black ancestry. He spent the formative years of his youth in Great Falls, Montana picking through guitar standards at neighborhood gatherings.Morin currently maintains a busy performance schedule as a solo artist, as a duo with his partner Celeste, and with his band Cary Morin & Ghost Dog.
