In 2007, Nathan became the youngest musician to be inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with Bob Dorr and the Blue Band. Nathan’s playing has been described as "A versatile musician with sophisticated knowledge of jazz with a soulful, bluesy approach, able to make any band sound better."
