Graduating with a BM and concentrating in guitar as a recipient of the prestigious "Dale Bruning Jazz & Improvised Music Endowed Scholarship" at Metropolitan State University of Denver in May 2020, Enmanuel has honed his craft and continues to explore new genres and techniques of expression under the guidance of teachers like Dave Devine, Gonzalo Teppa, Dawn Clement, and Shane Endsley.Ishka Phoenix is a dynamic vocalist born and raised in Denver. Daughter of local alto sax player John Mader, Ishka was brought up on a vast array of eclectic music early on, and naturally developed an insatiable taste for adventure in all her creative pursuits. A Cancer sun, Scorpio moon, Scorpio rising, she has a penchant for intensity and is committed to emotional honesty as an artist. Her inspiration as a vocalist spans many styles and attitudes, but she has most recently become enamored with Julie London, Chaka Khan, and Cedric Bixler-Zavala (The Mars Volta). Her current favorite Denver vocalists are Hunter Hall (Hunter James & the Titanic) and Summer Green (Summer Bedhead).
