Jason Greenlaw is a guitarist hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that is now based in the front range of Colorado. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies at the University of Pittsburgh where he studied jazz guitar under Joe Negri and improvisation under contemporary pianist Geri Allen. His work has led him to experiment with a wide variety of creative projects ranging from rock bands to operas, contemporary jazz, swing, pit orchestras, solo guitar, and musical theater. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Jazz Studies at the University of Pittsburgh where he studied jazz guitar under Joe Negri and improvisation under contemporary pianist Geri Allen. His work has led him to experiment with a wide variety of creative projects ranging from rock bands to operas, contemporary jazz, swing, pit orchestras, solo guitar, and musical theater. In 2013 he co-founded the jazz-rock band The Clock Reads who quickly made a name for themselves in the Pittsburgh music scene, playing well-known venues and festivals across the east coast and midwest. In 2016 Jason also began an exciting collaboration with John Page Classic Guitars and Howard Swimmer. Through their promotional work together, Jason performed with renowned Berklee College of Music educator and guitarist Tomo Fujita and the Sugar Hill Gang. In 2018 Jason performed with the Pittsburgh Opera in a production of 'The Long Walk' composed by Jeremy Howard Beck. You will find him performing regularly in the front range with his jazz trio, solo, weddings, and with his two current original projects, Superimposition and Sixth Wind.  Jason is also an active educator in the area. He teaches privately and at Parlando School of Musical Arts in Boulder.
