Backed by a veteran six piece band, Wil’s velvet smooth baritone voice delivers classic jazz standards and contemporary soul music with grace and richness. You will sway to classic (but fresh) versions of “Starlight,” “The Nearness of You,” and “Prelude to a Kiss,” and bop to new jazz songs by artists like Dianne Reeves, Gregory Porter, and Will Downing. Wil has been a lead vocalist in the music department at one of Denver’s most prominent African American churches – the New Hope Baptist Church. He recently spent time as a back-up singer for prominent Denver vocalist Mary Louise Lee.
