Included are Tenor Saxophonist Dexter Gordon’s version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas; the Heath Brothers’ arrangement of Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem; Herbie Hancock’s arrangement of Deck the Halls; and Rashaan Roland Kirk’s arrangement of We Three Kings, called We Free Kings. Mr. Baker, an award-winning composer, performer and educator, is the Director of the Jazz Studies and Commercial Music Program at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music.
