Don’t miss this unique performance blending jazz, global rhythms and beyond!MATT FULLERGuitarist Matt Fuller’s 2017 album City Life features original compositions inspired by his time in New York, supported by a Pathways to Jazz grant. His debut album Waiting for Violet (2014) features Ron Miles. A longtime student of Dale Bruning, Matt’s music blends jazz tradition with modern influences. He holds a Master’s in Jazz Pedagogy from CU Boulder and has over 20 years of teaching experience, including 11 at the college level. Matt currently teaches at Denver School of the Arts and runs a private studio in Lafayette. Some highlights of his career include U.S. tours and performing at the Kolkata Jazz Festival in India.GREG HARRISGreg Tanner Harris is a multi-instrumentalist and leader of the "Greg Harris Vibe Quintet." He plays in several groups across genres, including Pete Wernick’s Flexigrass and Future Jazz Project. Greg is deeply interested in the West African Gyil (xylophone) and has performed with artists like Baaba Maal. He holds a D.M.A. in Jazz Studies and an M.M. in Music Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Greg teaches percussion, composition, and improvisation at various institutions, including the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Denver School of the Arts.
