Pianist Sonya Walker's name is flying around town at the moment. In her music you will hear beautiful familiarity, as well as many groundbreaking choices. The piano turns into something much more like the lines of your favorite book, transcending all technicalities of the instrument and creating a story that goes beyond the room. Walker is extremely intentional in her playing. Walker is from Boulder, Colorado, and is a multi-instrumentalist and composer/arranger.
