CADE GUTIERREZCaiden "Cade" Gutierrez is a Saxophonist from Albuquerque, New Mexico currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance at the University of Northern Colorado where he currently studies under Dr. Andrew Janak. Gutierrez is a professional musician who plays various different musical styles; jazz, rock, pop, classical, R&B, and others in both the Albuquerque and Greeley areas.Gutierrez began his collegiate saxophone studies at the University of New Mexico where he studied classical saxophone with Dr. Ashley Kelly. During his time in the UNM saxophone studio, Gutierrez participated in several of UNM's performing ensembles including the UNM Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band 1, Jazz Combo 1, Saxophone Ensemble, and Adobe Saxophone Quartet. Since transferring to the University of Northern Colorado in the fall of 2023, Gutierrez has participated in UNC's Downbeat Award winning Compass Jazz Orchestra, The Birdland Septet, the Spectrum Studio Orchestra, and the UNC Symphony Orchestra. Gutierrez graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, obtaining a bachelor's degree in instrumental jazz performance in May of 2025. He began his masters studies at Northern Colorado in August of 2025 as a Teaching Assistant.In August 2025, Gutierrez released his debut studio record, A Traveler's Fantasy, a collection of 8 original compositions, each corresponding to a pivotal life-event. The record was released to all major streaming platforms on August 7th, 2025, in addition to being performed live in front of a well-attended audience at the Outpost Performance Space in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Gutierrez currently lives in Greeley, Colorado, where he attends the University of Northern Colorado, and frequents the Northern Colorado music scene.BODIN CHOMPOOSRIBodin Chompoosri is currently pursuing a DA in Jazz Studies at the University of Northern Colorado! Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, he completed his undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies at the College of Music at Mahidol University in Thailand, and earned his Master's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas.Bodin is an accomplished performer and educator in both the United States and Thailand.You catch him performing with UNC ensembles including the Vanguard Octet and the Compass Jazz Orchestra.
