Quirktett at Caffe Solé

Quirktett is a collaboration of four local singers - MaryLynn Gillaspie, Terri Jo Jenkins, Janine Gastineau, and John Bertram, who all dig the vocal jazz concept of such groups as Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, Rare Silk, Lake Street Dive, to mention a few. Their live shows incorporate a living, breathing, and swinging vocal quartet with an exceptional rhythm section of some of the metro area's top Jazz musicians. Building on the "horns with words" approach, Quirktett's vocal arrangements are like a horn section complete with both ensemble passages and vocalized solos.
