Amina Figarova at Caspe Terrace

Pianist Amina Figarova returns to Caspe Terrace on April 26, this time with a solo piano recital of standards and originals. Born in Azerbaijan, Amina received her jazz education at the University of Rotterdam and Berklee School of Music. Currenty living in New York City with her husband, jazz flutist Bart Platteau, Amina splits her time between composing and performing with her large ensemble as well as making appearances in trio and solo settings. Bart has agreed to accompany her on flute on a few selections when she perform in the intimate setting of Caspe Terrace in Waukee, Iowa.
