About
Mr. Kisor, a trumpet player with a taste for smartly surging hard bop, teams up with Omaha B-3 artist Mitch Towne for Kisor’s first appearance at Jazz Happy Hour. A graduate of the Julliard Jazz Studies program, Kisor’s playing exemplifies the styles of his major influences, Clifford Brown, Fats Navarro, and Dizzy Gillespie. Towne, a regular of the Jazz Happy Hour series, will be joined by drummer John Evans to round out the trio.
