The Mitch Towne Organ Trio derives its sound from a host of disparate influences - 60s hard bop, 70s free jazz, and 80s pop rock, to name just a few. With a set list ranging from such classic jazz artists as Bjork, Seal and Nine Inch Nails, (not to mention a liberal dose of Monk and Coltrane), the group pushes the boundaries of the classic organ trio setting while still being true to its roots.
