Yaala Ballin: Symphony, Song & Swing at Caspe Terrace

Inspired by Billie Holiday’s seminal 1958 recording “Lady In Satin,” “Symphony, Song, Swing!”
embodies the lyricism and dynamic rhythms of
Jazz’ Golden Age. The new, original arrangements, beautifully interweave Ballin’s singing with a jazz trio and the dramatic textures of a chamber ensemble from the Des Moines Community Orchestra.

The repertoire includes beloved favorites from The Great American Songbook such as “Night And Day” and “All Of Me”, as well as classics by iconic
composers George Gershwin and Irving Berlin.
