The Des Moines Big Band plays every Monday night from 6:30-9:30. Founded in 1959, the DMBB has been in a continuous jam session ever since. Considered the elite rehearsal band for hundreds of miles around, it has become a regular stopping ground for touring artists such as Bobby Shew, Frank Perowsky, Dick Oatts, John Fedchock, Paul McKee, Richie Cole, John Mosca & Clark Terry, to mention a few.
