The Doomsday Philharmonic will perform Matt Endahl's composition "Jacob's Ladder". Inspired by works of Anthony Braxton, Bill Dixon, Michael Mantler, Frederic Rzewski and others, "Jacob's Ladder" is a large ensemble improvised piece in which the players organize themselves into small ensembles, according to the structure of four bases found in DNA.
