The Sheila Landis Trio takes the stage for the return of this popular concert series. She is a seven-time winner as Outstanding Jazz Vocalist at the Detroit Music Awards. Landis will be joined by 7-string guitarist Rick Matle and durmmer Karen Tomalis.

Special guest is MSU grad David Thomas who plays keyboard, trumpet, flute and piccolo with equal virtuosity. In the true spirit of jazz, Thomas will join the well-oiled Sheila Landis Trio for a tune, followed by an hour-long set from Landis, Matle and Tomalis from 9pm-10pm....

Alison Buckman of Axis Music Academy will open the evening. Although she is a future Spartan, the stage is her joy now. Buckman is a talented area singer-songwriter with a stage presence to rival someone twice her age.
