In an abandoned night club in Detroit’s Black Bottom, the music of Jazz comes alive in Jazz: Birth of the Cool, a hot, new cabaret revue featuring some of the coolest Jazz standards of the 20th Century. From Louis Armstrong to Miles Davis to Wynton Marsalis, we get to hear some of the best music ever made. New Orleans style, Swing, Bebop, and Fusion Jazz all show the power of the music as it is reinvented decade to decade.
