The Greater Detroit Jazz Society is a growing organization of passionate and knowledgeable jazz fans who love live jazz! We are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Classic Jazz, Big Band, Dixieland and Swing.We gather at Shield's of Southfield twice a month from 1-3:30 p.m. (1st and 3rd Saturday of each month) to listen to the finest musicians of this genre in the Detroit, Toledo and Ann Arbor areas.
