A concert honoring the life of Wesley Skip Norris will be held at 8:00 p.m. June 9, 2017 at the Northwest Activities Center, located at 18100 Meyers Road, Detroit Michigan 48235. Proceeds from the concert will be given to the college fund of his daughter, Sarah Norris. The fund is being administered by the Hartford Memorial Baptist, where Skip served as trustee.
Skip Norris died on January 26, 2017 in Detroit. A ferocious advocate of jazz and jazz musicians, many artists are coming to Detroit to celebrate his life.
Linda Yohn from WEMU will host the evening.
Ticket prices are as follows: VIP tickets are $100 which includes a pre-concert reception and meet and greet with the musicians and special priority seating. The second tier of tickets is $40, general admission. There will be a CD signing of the various artists to which all concert goers are invited. ...
