A simple definition is that a jazz standard is a musical piece that has gained a certain notoriety in the genre, is known by a large number of musicians, has been the subject of numerous covers, interpretations, and improvisations, and is frequently used in performances.
Songs such as "Autumn Leaves," "Nardis," "La Fiesta," and others will make up the very special repertoire, which, under Micheli's conceptualization, will delight everyone in attendance with original arrangements of renowned standards, as well as some of his own compositions, in a night of elegant, sophisticated, and high-quality sounds.
