Last November 3rd, Fiesta Sunset Jazz presented the trio of guitarrist Sebastian Murena, and his very special guest, the young vocalist Nicole Lazala, in a night whose repertoire honored the great female voices in the history of jazz.

After receiving many requests from our fans, on Friday April 19th and on the occasion of the upcoming International Jazz Day 2024 (April 30) we will present Murena and Lazala, accompanied by Daroll Méndez on bass and Ezequiel Francisco on a night in which we will celebrate to the great jazz diva: Billie Holiday....

Last November 3rd, Fiesta Sunset Jazz presented the trio of guitarrist Sebastian Murena, and his very special guest, the young vocalist Nicole Lazala, in a night whose repertoire honored the great female voices in the history of jazz.

After receiving many requests from our fans, on Friday April 19th and on the occasion of the upcoming International Jazz Day 2024 (April 30) we will present Murena and Lazala, accompanied by Daroll Méndez on bass and Ezequiel Francisco on a night in which we will celebrate to the great jazz diva: Billie Holiday.

Eleanora Holiday Fagan, better known as Billie Holiday and nicknamed Lady Day, is considered one of the three most important and influential female voices in this musical genre, along with Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. Holiday's artistic value lies in both her interpretive ability and her mastery of swing. Likewise, she stood out for her ability to adapt her vocal qualities to the content of the song. Billie Holiday permeated her songs with an unmatched intensity that, in many cases, was the result of the transfer of her own experiences to the lyrics she sang.

Songs like Cherokee and many more will adorn a repertoire specially selected by Sebastian and Nicole for this night in which they will share with family, friends, fans and the general public of the renowned city space, thus giving us a night that promises to be... simply... first!!!

This event is formally registered and forms part of the official celebrations of International Jazz Day 2024; having the endorsement of UNESCO, International Jazz Day and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz
