Shankar, pianist Joanna MacGregor, songwriter John Martyn and a myriad of leading jazz figures, including Carla Bley, George Russell and the late Gil Evans. De Chassy and Marguet, who share writing duties on the project, have between them collaborated with such luminaries as Paul Motian, Mark Murphy, Enrico Rava, Buddy de Franco, Kenny Wheeler, John Scofield and Evan Parker.
