About
Ireland's jazz harmonica player gives an affectionate tribute to the late Jean Baptiste 'Toots' Thielemans who died on this day in 2016. Toots was universally acknowledged as a virtuoso who achieved a new respect for the harmonica in jazz as evidenced by much admiration from Clifford Brown, Quincy Jones, and many others.
The programme will be varied, to include bebop, ballads, and pieces that Toots regularly included in his performances.
