Brazilian Ed Motta is a larger than life singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist and a living legend in his home country.

Nephew of late Brazilian Soul Icon Tim Maia, Ed has recorded thirteen albums that span boogie, funk, soul, bossa nova, jazz and rock. 'The Colossus of Rio' boasts an encyclopediac knowledge of music - he owns a 30,000 plus album collection! - Ed Motta and his group have toured Europe in each of the last two summers, including celebrated shows at Amsterdam's North Sea Jazz Club and London's Ronnie Scott's amongst a busy programme.

His current album “AOR” is a celebration of Ed's last musical obsession, the jazz tinged US West Coast "Adult-Oriented-Rock" of Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers and Chicago that he grew up listening to in the 70s and 80s....
