The World's Finest Apples is a California and New Orleans based hot jazz quintet striking a precarious balance between deft musicality and playful whimsy while trying to recapture the intrinsic experimentalism of 20s and 30s jazz. Though all the members are under 30, they each individually have over a decade of experience with early jazz and swing styles, and a deep affinity nurtured by its presence in their coming-of-ages.
