Lorenzo Simoni is a saxophonist and composer who first approached the instrument at the age of 11. He graduated in classical saxophone with top marks and special mention at the Livorno Conservatory, but from an early age he also practiced jazz. An eclectic musician and composer who has always been divided between classical concerts and improvised music, who despite his 25 years of age has already performed in numerous prestigious clubs and festivals and has participated in several recording sessions both as a sideman and leader. As a composer, he published his first work Candela , for solo alto saxophone, published by DaVinci Publishing in 2021 and at the same time began working with his stable quartet made up of some of the best young jazz musicians in Italy...
