The name of the project comes from a particular model of kite capable of flying in conditions of weak, almost absent wind. In fact, the wind is replaced, or rather integrated, by the force impressed by the kite flyer on the string. His gestures transmit the direction to the kite, induce the movement that will make it glide; a slow and calibrated flight made of wavy and circular movements, different from soaring at great heights. The choice of the lineup, together with that of the repertoire, enhances the mobility of the role of the group members to create a unitary and cohesive sound that is at the same time fluid and elusive, which ranges between the many influences that have contributed to forming the musical identity of these musicians: jazz, electronic music, rock, American folk and much more.
