The Tower Jazz Composers Orchestra, formed in January 2016, is the resident band of the Jazz Club Ferrara. This ensemble, with the possibility of rotating musicians, naturally evolved from two educational projects (The Unreal Book and The Tower Jazz Workshop Orchestra), bringing these diverse experiences into a renewed synthesis. They now have a more stable lineup and focus on original compositions and arrangements. Under the direction of Piero Bittolo Bon and Alfonso Santimone, the group of over twenty members collectively explores their musical ideas with creativity and remarkable empathy, performing scores tailored for the orchestra itself and reimagining pieces from various musical languages.
