Jazz Club Ferrara

The Jazz Club Ferrara, formerly the “Club of jazz friends”, began its activity at the end of the 1970s. Since then, without any interruption, it has life given to rich and prestigious events animated by illustrious names in the history of international jazz as Miles as Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, Michel Petrucciani, McCoy Tyner, George Benson, Wynton Marsalis and many many. Since 1999 it has been operating in the prestigious headquarters of the Torrione San Giovanni, a splendid Renaissance bastion (1493) and jewel of the ancient Estense walls protected by UNESCO, within thanks - to the Turin of the contribution MIC Ministry of Culture, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Ferrara and Endas Emilia-Romagna - Ferrara in Jazz takes place, a conna concert series of over eighty concerts from October to April.
