Composer Mikko Sarvanne leads the seven-member Mikko Sarvanne Garden, consisting of three vocalists, two string players, and a percussionist, with Sarvanne himself handling synthesizers and other electronics live. Säveltäjä Mikko Sarvanteen yhtye Mikko Sarvanne Garden vie kuulijan rinnakkaiseen todellisuuteen, puutarhaan, jonka tuoksuissa kaikuvat etiäiset niin nykyvokaali- ja nykyperkussiomusiikista, pohjoismaisesta jazzista kuin äänitaiteestakin. Yhtyeen musiikki tarjoaa kuulijalle toismaallisen kokemuksen – nousevan auringon lailla hehkuva syntetisaattori, syvänä juurakkona rymisevät matalat jouset ja kirkkaiden lauluäänien taipuisat katedraalit sulkevat kuulijan hellään syleilyynsä.
Yhtyeen ensimmäinen, Erkka Filanderin samannimiseen runoteokseen perustuva albumi Heräämisen valkea myrsky julkaistiin lokakuussa 2022. Albumin sävellykset palkittiin Teosto-palkinnolla keväällä 2023.
