Pianisti-säveltäjä Aurora Hentunen on lyhyessä ajassa noussut tyylikkään pohjoismaisella musiikillaan arvostetuksi jazzartistiksi. Kvintetiksi laajentunut yhtye julkaisee tänä vuonna kolmannen levynsä, jonka sävyt tarinoivat viime vuosina vallinneesta epätietoisesta maailmantilanteesta, mutta myös toivosta.
Alunperin lappeenrantalainen Aurora Hentunen vaikuttaa nykyisin kotimaan lisäksi Amsterdamin jazzkentällä. Pianisti-säveltäjä-yhtyeenjohtaja on julkaissut kaksi albumia, Spring (2018) ja Frost (2019). Loistavia arvosteluja keränneitä julkaisuja on kiitelty rikkaasta ja monisävyisestä musiikista sekä tasapainoisesta sävellyksellisyyden ja improvisaation suhteesta.
Tänä vuonna julkaistava Little Further heijastelee viime vuosien tapahtumia ja niiden aiheuttamaa olotilaa: pakotettua kollektiivista pysähtymistä ja epätietoisuutta tulevasta. Albumin musiikki ohjaa kuitenkin lempeästi jatkamaan omaa matkaa ja luottamaan huomiseen.
