Jazz Suomi 100: Chronovariations at Sellosali

Sellosalin tunnelmallisella Lämpiöklubilla esiintyy rajoja rikkova saksofonisti, klarinetisti, säveltäjä ja äänitaiteilija Heli Hartikainen. Hän tuo klubille Chronovariations-projektinsa, jossa tenorisaksofonin ääntä täydentävät yleisön ympärille sijoitetut, elektromagneettisilla aktuaattoreilla soivat metallilevyt ja -putket.
Tapahtuma järjestetään Sellosalin lämpiössä, jossa on numeroimaton istumakatsomo. Kahvio palvelee asiakkaita läpi illan.

Vuonna 2026 tulee kuluneeksi 100 vuotta siitä, kun jazz symbolisesti rantautui Andania-laivan mukana Suomeen. Vuosi on siten historiallinen kotimaisen jazzin juhlavuosi: Jazz Suomi 100 -juhlavuosi. Juhlavuosi nostaa esiin kotimaista jazzia ja sen tekijöitä niin Suomessa kuin ulkomailla, ja juhlii jazzia osana suomalaista kulttuuriperintöä. Jazz Suomi 100 -kampanjaa koordinoi Suomen Jazzliitto.
