Energisistä live-esiintymisistään tunnetun Oaagaadan konsertit vaihtelevat tilanteen ja päivän mukaan. Yhtyeen musiikki virtaa monen tunnelman lävitse energisista vyörytyksistä meditatiivisiin suvantoihin. Kaiken taustalla on ikiaikainen yhdessä soittamisen voima ja riemu. Yhtye on omistautunut tutkimaan uusia tapoja soittaa kollektiivista musiikkia yhdessä.
Vuonna 2017 ensimmäisen konserttinsa soittaneen yhtyeen taustalta löytyy pitkän linjan muusikoita ja vapaan jazzin konkareita. Saksofonisti Sami Pekkola, trumpetisti Tuure Tammi, kontrabasisti Tero Kemppainen ja rumpali Simo Laihonen pitävät kotipaikkaansa Hämeenlinnassa Odd Funk Recordsin studiolla. Yhdysvaltalainen Bandcamp daily nosti yhteen debyyttilevyn Music of Oaagaada (We Jazz records) marraskuun 2024 Best of jazz -listalleen.
