Saxophonist and pianist Severi Tikkinen has become familiar to the audience in Jyväskylä through his work with the Desho Desho ensemble and his contributions to the Jyväskylä Big Band. Currently studying at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, this musician is also a product of Jyväskylä's music campus and the youth department of the Sibelius Academy.
At the last jazz club of the year, Jazz Jkl Collective and Tikkinen will interpret classics composed by the greatest masters of the bebop era, including Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Tadd Dameron, Bud Powell, and Thelonious Monk....

Jazz Jkl:n Collectiven vuosi päättyy rattoisasti svengaavissa tunnelmissa, kun paikallinen huippulahjakkuus, saksofonisti Severi Tikkinen puhaltaa eloon bebop-aikakauden parhaimmat menobiisit!
Saksofonisti ja pianisti Severi Tikkinen on tullut jyväskyläläisyleisölle tutuksi paikallisia nuoria lahjakkuuksia kokoavasta Desho Desho -yhtyeestä sekä Jyväskylän Big Bandin riveistä. Nykyään Helsingin Metropoliassa opiskeleva muusikko on myös Jyväskylän musiikkikampuksen ja Sibelius-Akatemian nuoriso-osaston kasvatti.
Vuoden viimeisellä jazzklubilla Jazz Jkl Collective ja Tikkinen tulkitsevat bebop-aikakauden suurimpien mestareiden, mm. Charlie Parkerin, Dizzy Gillespien, Tadd Dameronin, Bud Powellin ja Thelonious Monkin säveltämiä klassikoita.
