Huhtikuun jazzklubilla herkutellaan kotimaisilla ja ulkomaisilla ikivihreillä, kun Jazz Jkl Collectiven solistivieraana loistaa mestarisaksofonisti Jukka Perko!
Jukka Perko ja Jazz Jkl Collective pistävät menoksi ottamalla käsittelyyn jazzstandardien helmiä ja kotimaisia klassikoita. Monipuolisessa ohjelmassa on luvassa kappaleita niin Unto Monoselta kuin Cannonball Adderleyltäkin. Perkon kansainvälinen ura alkoi jo 19-vuotiaana Dizzy Gillespien big bandissä. Nuoren saksofonistin häikäisevää soittoaan verrattiin Charlie Parkeriin, ja arvostelut olivat ylistäviä. Timantiksi hiotulla saksofonisoundillaan ja erilaisten musiikkien välille yhteyksiä rakentamalla Perko on noussut paitsi suuren yleisön tietoisuuteen, myös yhdeksi sukupolvensa nerokkaimmista suomalaismuusikoista.
