Raahen Rantajatsit
Raahen Rantajatsit aka Raahe Jazz on the Beach is a modern and contemporary jazz festival. Raahe is an idyllic, old wooden seaside town in Northern Finland. The main concerts will take place on an open air club near by the sea.
Raahen Rantajatsit has been held in the last week of of July since 1989. Festival is organized by Rajatsi, a local non-profit jazz association, and it is made possible by volunteers. The main sponsors are the City of Raahe and Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Rajatsi is a member of the Finnish Jazz Federation and Europe Jazz Network. - Rajatsi organizes also jazz concerts in Raahe around the year.
