The Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra is an 18 piece big band playing a wide range of contemporary jazz originals and progressive arrangements of standards. The band features some of Melbourne's top session and jazz musicians and boasts a great line-up of exciting soloists. The DMJO performs regularly on the last Monday of every month at
The Apartment 401 Lt Bourke st 8pm ($10 cover charge - waived for diners). Each month features a special guest vocalist and a "young artist".
"Scallywag" is the band's second CD release following their debut release"It's About Time". Both are available at the Apartment nights and online at itunes music store.
