Following the success of Waking World and her quartet tour, Youn Sun Nah returns with a new opus, « Elles », and a piano-voice duo tour. Through an anthology of covers, « Elles » pays tribute to women's voices, and in particular to some of the singers who have marked Youn Sun Nah's career, from Nina Simone to Roberta Flack, via Björk and Edith Piaf, across eras and musical borders. Oscillating between jazz and folk tinged with pop, the artist's spellbinding voice is capable of interpreting the finest emotions with a rare intensity.

Après le succès de Waking World et de sa tournée en quartet, Youn Sun Nah revient avec un nouvel opus « Elles » et une tournée en duo piano-voix. A travers un florilège de reprises, « Elles » rend hommage aux voix de femmes et en particulier à quelques-unes des chanteuses qui ont marqué l'itinéraire de Youn Sun Nah, de Nina Simone à Roberta Flack en passant par Björk ou Edith Piaf, par-delà les époques et les frontières musicales. Oscillant entre sonorités jazz et folk teintées de pop, l’artiste à la voix envoûtante est capable d’interpréter les émotions les plus fines avec une rare intensité.
