Four big names for an exclusive, last-minute jazz concert - that's what we love about the brasserie! RICHARD SEARS is an American pianist and composer based in Paris. He has played with the Billy Hart Quartet (Mark Turner and Ben Street), the Muhal Richard Abrams Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane, Ralph Alessi, Eric Revis, Andrew Cyrille, Joshua Redman and other jazz artists.In 2018, Sears was commissioned by The Shed (NYC) to create ‘Should I Lose You’, a concerto for improvised piano and electronic score, conceived in collaboration with composer and sound artist Ethan Braun. ‘Should I Lose You was premiered in 2019 as part of The Shed's inaugural Open Call programme.Born in 1990 in France, MUSINA EBOBISSÉ was exposed to music at an early age thanks to the support of his family. He began playing the saxophone at the age of 8 and entered the Strasbourg Conservatoire on a music-oriented programme. He joined the jazz department at Strasbourg Conservatoire in 2008.Alongside his jazz studies, he obtained a degree in sociology from the University of Strasbourg in 2012. In 2013, Musina entered the Jazz Institut Berlin, where he studied with Peter Weniger, John Hollenbeck, Jim Black, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Greg Cohen, among others. In 2018, he won second prize in the Katowice International Jazz Composition Competition.Born in Israel and living in France since 1995, YONI ZELNIK is a double bass player who is very active on the French and international scene. He has taken part in over seventy recordings (Youn Sun Nah, Geraldine Laurent, Yonathan Avishai....) and has performed all over the world in the most prestigious festivals and venues (North Sea Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Tokyo Jazz Festival....).(North Sea Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Tokyo Jazz Festival....), notably with trumpeter Avishai Cohen.Drummer, composer and producer BENJAMIN SANZ worked with music masters before founding his own group. He has also served on or initiated numerous projects influenced by the currents of black American and African music, such as the Benkadi group with Hervé Samb, the large Afro-Cuban free music ensemble Los Pistoleros Del Infinito, and the Divine Pocket Bouncers quartet. As a sideman, he has played internationally with David Murray, Archie Shepp, Oliver Lake, Sabir Mateen, Joëlle Léandre, Mike Ladd, Napoleon Maddox and Iswhat, Roy Campbell, Bobby Few, Lobi Traore, Abdoulaye Traore, to name but a few....

Il a participé à plus de soixante-dix disques (Youn Sun Nah, Geraldine Laurent, Yonathan Avishai….) et s’est produit dans le monde entier dans les festivals et salles les plusprestigieuses (North Sea Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Tokyo Jazz Festival….), notamment avec le trompettiste Avishai Cohen.Le batteur, compositeur et producteur BENJAMIN SANZ a travaillé avec des maîtres de musique avant de fonder son propre groupe. Il a également servi ou est à l’origine de nombreux projets influencés par les courants de la musique noire américaine et africaine, comme le groupe Benkadi avec Hervé Samb, le large ensemble de musique free afro-cubaine Los Pistoleros Del Infinito, ou le quartet Divine Pocket Bouncers.
