Guitarist and educator Justin Miranda first began his professional music journey at Broward College. While there, he studied under Jason Hainsworth, Paul Ayick and Tom Lippincott – and began performing around South Florida under his own name and as a sideman in other groups. From there, Justin completed both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Jazz Performance at FIU – where he studied with Gary Campbell and Jaime Ousley. Justin has been on the bandstand with various local jazz talents such as Dave Fernandez, Jen Martinez-Bre, Juan Tobon, Paul Ayick, Lucia Nunez, and Waldron Dunkley. Currently, Justin teaches jazz guitar and music appreciation courses at both Miami-Dade College and Broward College....
