The Broward College Big Band is an 18-piece jazz ensemble. They pull their inspiration from swing and blues and play classics by legendary composers like Duke Ellington and Count Basie. The band is comprised of BC's most talented students and Broward county’s best community members. They perform sold out shows regularly at Bailey Hall and serve their community by playing many local concerts. The BC Big Band is teaching the next generation of great jazz artists as well as providing a crucial community element that is essential to Broward County.
