Saxophonist Fil Lorenz was born and raised in San Francisco and has been active on the national music scene since completing military service in 1998. From touring the world as a member of the Glenn Miller or Harry James orchestras to performing with artists such as Tony Bennett, The Four Freshmen, Huey Lewis and the News, and many others, Lorenz draws from a wide range of musical experiences.
Vocalist Walt Andrus is one of the country’s top interpreters of the Grant American Songbook, Mr. Andrus spent 15 years touring internationally with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. Other recent performances have included The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The Naples Jazz Orchestra, and various national Symphony and Pops Orchestras.
Charlotte County Jazz Society members are free, non-members are $25, payable at the door, cash or check only. Students are free.
