Chefs Allan and Nancy Cotter moved to Cape Coral Florida from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Slate's features their signature flair of Cajun and Caribbean-infused dishes in a casual, fine-dining experience. Prior to their arrival in South Cape, the Cotters were the chefs and owners of the renowned "Blue Moon Restaurant and Jazz Club" in St. Croix for 16 award-winning years.
