Every Thursday night trumpeter Dan Miller (who toured and recorded with Harry Connick Jr, Wynton Marsalis, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman) and saxophonist Lew Del Gatto (member of the Saturday Night Live Band 1975 - 2006) lead a ferociously swinging hard-bop quartet in Downtown Fort Myers at The Barrel Room at The Twisted Vine Bistro. This is a beautiful venue whose owners, Steve and Denise Hollister want hard swinging music to accompany the excellent menu and over 40 bourbons at the bar. To quote Art Blakey, "come on out and clap your hands, stomp your feet and have a ball!"
