The Branko Arnsek Septet plays modern, fresh (Latin) jazz in his own distinctive style. The music is the work of Slovenian jazz bassist Branko Arnsek, whose half-life as a musical globetrotter has greatly influenced his music. With this band, he combines his experiences and his passion. These range from the Balkans to Cuba – the Balkans because of his origins and Cuba because of his "adopted homeland." In his compositions, this influence meets modern jazz and is performed by outstanding musicians. This JazzTime at Summer at the Lake in Böblingen offers the perfect setting and southern flair.
