A world-class soloist, accomplished composer and formidable bandleader, Potter has emerged as a leading light of his generation. Performing with Potter will be the Advanced Jazz Ensemble, and the Western Jazz Collective, comprised of WMU’s acclaimed jazz faculty. The University Jazz Orchestra will present some of Potter’s challenging works for big band, with the composer as featured soloist.
