Piedmont Jazz Alliance is excited to present an wonderful evening of jazz featuring the Kris Allen Trio Friday.
A protégé of the late Jackie McLean, saxophonist Kris Allen, who has enjoyed a long career as a sought-after sideman and leader, will perform with his trio Jonathan Barber, drums and Matt Dwonszyk bass, a selection of jazz favorites, original compositions from his acclaimed recordings, and new project, "June," which releases late summer.
